New Lift Ordered But Help

Hey everyone. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the OME lift kit from toytec assembled with 885's, 1.5" AAL for TSB, and Dif Drop. I'm also going to order some UCA's but am not sure which to get. Total Chaos sounds like one of the best but I do very light off roading and mostly freeway drives. Are LR UCA's an okay supplement to save $200. I have a DBL Cab LB w/ 265/70/17 tires. Also do I need longer bump stops?

 

You don't need longer bump stops, but you need new u-bolts & I think you can lightly mod your OEM ones to fit also the LR UCAs are fine but I didn't want to pay 30k for a truck and skimp out for different UCAs, I've heard nothing but good from the TC ones so that's what I got.

 

Sorry cant edit on my phone but before you install the diff drop I would search the forum, I can find more threads / posts from people who ended up taking it off because of problems occurring.

Lol sorry man not trying to knock you but I'm just going my two cents, also in my first post I meant you can lightly mod the OEM bump stops not the u bolts.

 

LR UCA's are a good option for $260 less than the Uniball numbers.They are the only adjustable UCA.
Uniball UCAs are good if you do heavy off road with frequent full stuff and full droop of the suspension.

Only if you do a lot of flexing.

 

So I ordered the Total Chaos UCA's. Now its just a wait game for the parts and we'll go from there. Thanks for your advice. I will post pics of the final product

 

You should always get an extended brakeline when ever ANY lifting of the rear goes on, even if you dont offroad much or at all, nothing screams

like an over stretched brakeline, you can actually rip one in half just by driving up & over a curb if it was a rather high curb & hit at an angle (not hard to do)....

Your still a good 5 or 6 inches from full droop in pics OZ, & whats in your hand ain't gonna cut it when it does I fear.....
