I think if I were to do it again I would've went with TC Lowers and Icon C/O's & Bypasses up front And well for the rear if you want some sort of speed ability the LR Bumps are awesome and give a huge improvement in keeping up with the front (once tuned for your truck).

I like those LCAs! Where did you find them? They don't actually give you any more travel right? Just allow for a second shock and the Uniball?

Also general MT question... How many inches of travel is considered MT? I've got Camburg UCAs and Dr 2.5 coilovers, J66 Deaver leafs and procomp extended travel rear shocks and i'm telling my friends I've got a MT setup although i'm not really toooo sure or not.. I don't know how many inches of travel i've got front or rear...

I just bought a new 2nd gen and it came with icon 2.5 coilovers on it and the guy put them on with about 60,000 miles. The truck now has 90,000 miles. Should i have them rebuilt and if so has anyone ever had them rebuilt and whats the price?

Well if you can do without your shocks/truck for a few days you could send DSM your shocks and have them re-build them Their prices are awesome and are a vendor on here, Call Marco or Sonny and they'll set you up!

I would rebuild them, who knows how hard they were pushed or if they were not used hard at all.


On side note, I will probably resi the rear but Im not sure about the front yet.

The guy said he "never" took them offroad but who knows.

and for the rear he put some rancho's on the back which are completely shot. My truck slams the bump stops evertime i go up drive was and hit the 2 inch curb haha and the leafs are gone to. Im saving up some cash to get the rear taken care of and will probably be getting some icons with resi in the rear

So I've decided to go with a MT setup: Fox c/o's resis with TC uca's and spindles up front and fox entended travel resis in the rear with either ap or deaver leafs. Im thinking ubolt flip kit and bump stops too. I just cant decide on my rear leafs!! Im hearing too many different opinions from everyone on TW but I figure talking about it here on a MT thread is my best bet. I sometimes have weight in my bed but not too often, what do u guys recommend for leafs? also which rear fox shocks do I want for MT?

Im only MT in the front right now, only bc I have 5100's in the rear which henderse my travel. I want to get some Icon 2.0 resis. or just the mono tubes... not sure yet..

I'm running the spindles up front. I also removed the sway bar to get max independent articualtion in the front. Sandman's pic is the best example of it.

Where the fuck do you guys get longer brake lines at???

Also, I'm so confused with lifted suspensions. lol

Someone point me to a thread that tells me how to find a proper rear shock to couple with a leaf pack, ie All-Pro or Deaver leaf packs, please!
