Lifting the front 2" this weekend, do I need or is it recommended to install a front diff drop kit? I have a TRD OffRoad 4x4. Everything I have read says you must install one in a 3" lift, but figure it is safer to ask.

Also the kit looks like just some washers/spacers, should I do a half drop on it and just install some grade 8 washers from the local store to drop it hall the distance that a drop kit does? This I would assume would not require the longer bolts.

    Thanks
