Best way to get 2.5 inches on Dbl Cab 2wd Tacoma??

    I've read a bunch of different threads and have come up with a couple of choices. Hope those who have a 2.5" lift can chime in. I already have the TSB done to the rear and now want to do the front as well as add something to rear to make level or slight factory rake. I believe with all these choices I can opt for 3" down the rode but for now I want to see how the 2"-2.5" rides...I appreciate any and all comments

    (a) Toytec/Bilstien adjustable coilover 2.25 or 3" of lift

    (b) 5100's set 0 w/ Eibachs and DS 1/2" top plate spacer / PS 1/4" spacer

    (c) 5100 set .85 w/ Eibachs with (1) 1/4" top plate spaer

    (d) complete OME kit with either 884 coils or 885 coils

    (e) any other recommendation

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Best for the money is the OME lift. If you want to save some cash, the 5100/Eibach combo is a good choice. The OME will ride softer on the street than the 5100. the 885 springs will give about 3" lift, while the 884's seem to give 2", but some have gotten almost 3 for some reason.

    thank you...appreciate the insight....I will be making my choice here soon...just need the extra shove...so far it looks like OME kit w/ 884 coils...with a 1.5 aal in the rear I don't think the tsb will be enough rake...thanks again

    So, do you think 884's w/tsb no aal, will sit level ? Ive been searching all over this forum and getting conflicting info. Right now my rearend is 2 " higher than my front. I have the tsb rear leafs. I want it level. 884's or 885's? Thanks and good luck

    I think you might be better off with the Eibach 1.6" lift springs

    I agree Eibachs are probably what I am going with...RLDtaco is running this set up and look awesome..look at his gallery...hope it helps
