Front 5100's, debadged, derped bumper, colormatched satoshi, cbi ditch brackets + leds, 4' firestik, 12" JL in a big ass box
Just a quick question, I have my maxtrac spindles, 5100's, ome 885's, all pro expos and extended bilstein rears sitting in my garage but 35's aren't gonna be until a couple months from now. I have a set of 265/75/16's on my truck now so my question is how awful my truck would look with 265's and a 6" for awhile, or should I just wait until I have 35's to install it all? It's killing me seeing it all just sitting in my garage :(

Just do it. It shouldn't look too bad, and if it really bugs you it will just make you get the tires sooner.:)

IMO, I would wait. I know it sucks but I think it would look a little odd. 33s minimum with a 6". Just my opinion.

heres what my girl looked like when i first installed my maxtracs and my coilovers were cranked to a 3" lift, I have AP standards in the rear with 265/75s, its the best that I have that would be equivalent to what are requesting

^^^^I still wish I went with 285s over 265s lol, your truck looks awesome with the 285s, I didnt think there would be too much of a difference...but you can really seriously see the difference between 265s and 285s

Imho like crap. 33's minimum on a 6" lift. Hell I would have ran 33's on my 3in lift had I known I was going to buy a bumper. Just get 33's or 35's and put the lift on.

Been debating on the maxtrac spindles for a little while now and got a couple questions. My current setup is 5100s @ 1.75 on stock Sr5 coils up front and non-tsb springs with 1.5 AAL /5100s.With Maxtrac 4" spindles should I swap out stock coils for 885s and drop billies back to 0?With the rear should I go with 2" block and extended bilsteins? I want the rake to stay like it is now and keep my tss wheels. Also planning on running 285/70 km2 or k02.

If you do 885s up front with spindles you and a 2in black in the rear then you're going to be nose high bud. You'll potentially have 6-7 in lift in the front and 2-3 in lift in the rear. If I'm reading correctly.

Maxtracs automatically give you 4 in of lift in the front. Then add your ome 885 at 2.5-3 in depending on what you're running up there ( plate bumper, winch, both). If you're not running any of that. Then you'll be closer if not at the 3in mark. So that is 7 in of lift front.

Your rear you're already at 1 in taller from the factory. Now add your 1.5 aal then a 2 in tapered block. You're at 4.5 in rear. So.... You'll need another 2.5 in the rear to have the rake you're going for.

So imho no don't do what you're thinking.

So should I keep stock coils and drop billies back to 0 and do 2" block rear with my 1.5AAl?

Look at sprucetaco's truck. He is running the spindles w 5100's @ 1.75 and in rear allpro expos and 1.5 block.

If you are thinking about running the ome springs get the 883 or 884's and set 5100's @ 0

Yes but those expos give you about 3-4 in. I think he's trying to go with what he has. He still hasn't identified what size lift he is trying to accomplish. If it's just 4" on the cheap. Then maxtrac, 5100's set at 0 and stock springs. Then take out the 1.5 aal and drop a 2in block. If he wants to keep the rake he could leave in the aal and have 1.5 plus the 2in block would achieve a 3.5 rear + 1 in factory = .5" rake.

If he wants to do 6+" lift then he is on the right track minus the block. He would need a 1.5-2in block + expos for the best ride. Or do like I did and drop some ingenuity into and slap on 2 f250 leafs cut to length and boom no block and 5" over stock in the rear

Oh I understand that. Just making sure he knows a 2" block and 1.5 aal isn't gonna give him a rake for a 6+" lift up front

Thats true, with my expos & blocks I'm just about level. Maybe .5" high in the rear but hub to fender measures the same front & rear.

    I have a few mods
CB drop really depends, I have 3* axle shims and new ujoints and my vibs are pretty much gone. the DS spacer, I would get one to put the DS back to being flush where its supposed to be, the one I bought from low range doesnt fit the flange on my truck...so I havent installed one yet
