Uniball UCA Question?

Are Uniball upper control arms like Camburg, TC or the new Icon tubular of any benefit to a stock 2010 Offroad suspension. I know that the suspension under normal conditions has 4" up and 4" down of travel. Is that limited by the upper control arm or by the Offroad Bilsteins themselves?

I know theynhelp with alignment when lifted and add some Castormfor steering angle but what about travel at the stock ride height?

So the stock UCA's will travel all that the stock Bilsteins will?

 

On a non-midtravel setup, the down travel of the suspension will be limited by the shock, not the uca.

Unless you have a sizable top-plate spacer.

 

OK, thanks for the info. Just wanted to know if I could generate some additional travel by uniball UCA's instead of going mid travel coilovers. I'm sure if that was the case people would be doing it regularly.
