Best way to go for a lift?

Hey I have an 08 Tacoma I deff wanna lift it but I am unsure of how the best way of going about it is. I was thinking just a levelling kit with 33" tires.

However I have always though an actual suspension lift was the best way to go.

What size of lift is best for performance? 3" or 6"
Whats the best brand to lift with?

Im new to this lol
