Have a base model Toyota Tacoma crew cab and is constantly
riding on the bumper stops when loaded with cargo. Will
adding an OME suspension with Dakar springs be stronger?

Sounds like you need the TSB springs. Toyota puts cheap leaf packs for "customer comfort" the work is free under warrenty. Do a search for rear spring tsb and you'll find everything you need to know.

Or you can upgrade to dakers or whatever eled

TSB Technical Service Bulletin. These are issues that Toyota have found and will repair or replace on your truck.

In your case, they will give you a new set of rear leaf springs to replace yours, no charge.

"When loaded with cargo" How much cargo are we talking about?? Because if you have 400lbs of stuff-That is a problem. If you have 2000lbs-There is still a problem but it's not with the leaf springs.

I installed Dakars on my DCLB and it made a world of difference in the trucks load carrying ability. My truck would hammer the bump stops endlessly with the stock leafs. With the Dakars you can load er up with firewood, quads, demolition debris or whatever and it still sits pretty level, handles well and doesn't even get close to the bump stops. I got about 2-3/4" of lift.

In other words I love em!
