at 160,xxx im finally going to get a lift

i am planning on going with bilsteins up front at 1.75 and then aal in the rear, but since i doubt the rear shocks were ever replaced by the previous owner should i also get some new rear shocks? should i get new coilovers up front?

 

If you get coilovers for the front, it will ride better but they are also much more expensive. If you don't offroad a lot, the 5100's should do fine. For the back if you get an aal, you will need longer shocks anyway. 5100's for the back will work well and if you want to make the back ride even better, you can buy a whole new leaf pack.

I also don't off road a lot since I have a prerunner but I drive off road just not rock crawling.

5100's all around
AAL in back or new leafs because yours might be sagging bad after mileage if you haul a load at all
Maybe eibach springs but I don't see where you said how much lift you are going for or if you want a lot of rake

That should be close to your budget, not much else you can do and stay within it. Keep in mind you will need front end alignment as well.

 

If a aal with the front at 1.75" I will still be ass high right?

Maybe I shouldnt aal right now and just wait to buy a whole new leaf pack that is at stock height that way when I put the front at 1.75" and the new leaf pack I'll be level.

 

I drove mine for 6 months with 2 inches up front (Eibachs and 5100's at .85) and stock rear TSB. Was a little nose high but barely noticable.

 

I think I'll just go with the original plan of billys on all four corners with the front at 1.75 and then get a 1.5 aal
