Right on. I don't own jacks, stands, etc., but do have buddies that are willing to help out. Just would like to avoid doing things twice if possible.
Quick question, which shims are the ones I would need? I've got a 2008 DCLB if that matters. or

I'm not sure it matters as both are 3 degrees. We installed TT-RS-846 in the OME kit we did the other weekend.

    Thanks Mike!
I'm hoping to pull the trigger on everything today. I already have some LR UCA I purchased used. Still trying to decide if I want to install the new SPC bushing kit on them now. Again, I don't want to install the UCA just to pull them off in 1000 miles to redo the bushings. But at the same token, I know others have gotten plenty of life out of their original bushings. Mine are in the unknown category as they are used. And I don't want to screw up the bushing housing ring as pAP warned in his install thread.
I've already bought the kit though as it was only $25.01 shipped!

I'll be doing the same thing actually! I'm in the process of getting a set of LR UCA's. They changed hands a few times so I'm just going to throw the new bushing kit in just to be safe. If you put a slight knick in the UCA ring, it'll be fine, you can fill it and smooth it with a tiny bit of JB Weld (carefully so you don't have to sand it inside the ring). I'm going to cut mine out with a good ole hand powered hack saw.

This is going to sound dumb, but I'm not even sure I know exactly what the UCA ring is. Its just the outmost metal circle on the end of the UCA that the bushing gets inserted into? Or is it something internal that is not visible while the old bushing currently installed?
I too was thinking of using a hack saw, simply to have more control of the depth of my cut.

The outter ring that you don't want to cut is the metal portion that the bushing inserts into. It's a solid piece with the rest of the control arm so there's no replacing it if it gets messed up. If you really go nuts and overcut it, you would need to weld in a support piece since there is a lot of pressure on that ring and it's not a part you'd want to fail on you!

From my experience from Autoanything.com, they will have large items drop shipped directly from the manufacturer...Weathertech floor liners, Go-Rhino step bars, etc.

The rep probably has old specs on the OME lift kit. The specs on the ARB website still list the N140S shocks also, even though they have been discontinued. If you order today, I'm 99% sure you will get the most current version of the shocks. I bet it will be drop shipped directly from ARB, and you will most likely get the 90000 shocks.

I've been looking at the same thing for a couple of months....saving and drooling.:)

Thats what I thought. Seems like more reason to just use a hack saw to me. I'd much prefer to take my time and be cautious.
