You're not the only special one around. I got 3" front & rear lift with no vibes & no high speed wander with stock UCAs.

I have been looking at lift options and the threat of ruining parts and having more headaches have left me not wanting to go with a spacer lift. I rather do it right the first time. Good idea!
I do have a few questions though.
Did you change out the leafs per the TSB before hand? No I have not as the dealership didn't want to do it when I inquired about it. If you haven't, did you have to switch them out on your own to make this lift work (did the kit come with it?) or did you just leave it stock? You can get the kit with an AAL or a new leaf pack. I got the Dakars.

Did the kit come with everything to would need to do the install Yes, or did you have to get additional parts?

Did you mess with the brake lines at all? As in extending them? No, I didn't even disconect them.

How long did it take to install? In less than 4 hours another guy and I did 2 lifts (no UCAs)

I apologize if some of these questions seem retarded, but I simply have no one to ask and I just don't know. Thanks in advance, and nice truck, once again.

Awesome.

Did you mod it at all previously to doing the lift? My truck is completely stock, and I just wanna make sure I ask any and all questions that may help me out.

And finally, are you planning on changing out the UCA's? If so, how soon?

If you're asking me that was my first mod (mudflap trim & shell don't count).
No plans for UCAs it drives fine with stock, got it up to 85 and no high speed wander.

Hey man. great looking truck you got. I'm actually moving to Boston and planning on getting a taco out there. How has your truck and lift been holding up to the new england winters? Is there rust developing on the shocks and undercarriage?

Just got my OME lift!!! I just want thank Adenhardcore for this thread because it help me pull the trigger on deciding to go with OME. I ended up adding spacers and the Dakar leaf packs to the shopping cart and crossed my fingers. I bought everything through Toytech and used the TW discount code (112710) which pretty much deleted the shipping costs. A famaily mechanic charged me $275 for the install and it took him about 6 hours to do. Adenhardcore wasn't kidding when he said it rides like butter, Its not too stiff and its sick. I'm very happy i did my homework and got a great lift. Stock UCA's for now but the alignment shop said its good and didn't need them. I forgot to get a copy of the specs so ill try to get one the next alignment. I hope this helps others as they do their research.
