Hey guys I want a lift for my truck around 2 to 2.5 in so I wont need upper control arms .So was thinking the old man emu from toytech and installing without the the top plate spacer and 885 coils , My question is on my access cab would that be to much lift for not having uppers on it . Iam open to other opinions and options as well so please post up your 2 cents and pics if available.

You should be good to go without new UCA's at 2-2.5". Once you get to 3" is when you may need them.

I'm not completely familiar with the OME stuff and the different coils and how much lift the various options give. Safe to say you'd be under 3" though without the spacers I believe they add 1/2 to 3/4" of lift.

If you go with 885 coils you should be right under 3" inches.....I got 2.7 on my 2wd double cab with no top plate spacers. I had the tsb done to the rear and have the 1.5 aal ..my rear sits 3/4" higher than front...perfect! I also kept my stock UCA's and my alignment is fine...no vibes, drift, etc. love the ride and stance

well factory rake is about 1.5" higher in the rear...so if u get 2.5" from 884 coils you will want to get the rear lifted at least 1" to keep level ..its up to you how much the 1.5 aal will give u a little rake and the 2" will prob give u a hair more than factory

i did 884's and dakars, came out with a pretty mellow rake. i did uca's just cause i don't want to rotate the tires every 1000 miles to keep the wear even.... im lazy.

So if I order the OME lift from toytech 885 coils no top plate spacer whiche rear option should i get because I dont have the tsb pack. Ill get 2in one but just dont want more than factory rake . And also do I need to order any different bolts than what come with the lift kit for ther coilovers or rear lift.

OME 885's without top plate spacers will get you 2 1/2 - 3" on an AC .

2" AAL will get you close to level , Dakars will maintain factory rake

Kk so 2in AAL is what i want cuz dakars are a little too much coin right now and I will just see how it goes for needing controle arms later if alignment isnt close enough.
