wheelers 3-leaf progressive - long end which way

    just received my wheeler's 3-leaf progressive leaf pack. does the longer end go towards the front or rear? didn't see this in the AAL install sticky.

    It says in the instructions wheelers gave with the leafs. I would answer but I forget.

    It looked like long side was front but I didn't measure so don't believe that. I didn't feel like lying down and getting wet and muddy to measure, sorry bud. Should be on the white piece of paper wheelers sent.

    It's supposed to be installed long side toward the rear but there is no harm done in installing them the other way. Some have said installing them backwards is supposed to help reduce axle wrap although it has never really been confirmed if it works or not.

    thanks all. I assumed so, but the only paper included in the shipment from Wheeler's was the sales receipt so I wanted to confirm - long end back.
