5100s set at 2.5 inches with stock coils

I have a set of 285/70/17s that im gonna put on my trd sport rims. Will the 5100s set at 2.5 in with the stock coils let me clear these tires?

You'd most likely still need to do some trimming to clear 285's.

depending on the tire you will also rub on the UCA and will either need wheel spacers or new UCAs.

what was the outcome? What did you have to do to make 285's fit?

You will definately need spacers or new wheels with different specs than stock.

when i got my 285/70/17's put on i did not have my wheel spacers on. mine scrubbed on the UCA at full lock. with the wheels straight, you could hardly get a pinky between the wheel and UCA. i have A/T's but if you had anything with a large side grip like a M/T you would need a wheel spacer. lucky me i had an old set of spidertrax in the barn that i ended putting on my truck.
