3" Lift Question

I just bought my 06 TRD Off Road used from a dealership...

The front end sits pretty high... Here is a picture I found online of the exact same setup I have on my truck...

My question is:

Is this stock lift for the TRD Off Road model??

Or is this an add-on by previous owner??

and what lift is it??

I love the truck, but must say it's a little bumpy around town

That's a crappy spacer lift added by the previous owner.

Top plate spacer, easy to remove if you don't like it.

I love the way it looks, but sure could ride smoother.

I gotta do some research to see if I can afford to replace it with something better...

So 5100's at the proper setting (2.5") would keep me at almost the same ride height the truck is now??

and at what level upgrade do the UCA's become necessary??

The bilstein 5100s can provide 2.5" of lift using your existing coils. Or for a better ride you could run a set of OME 885 coils with the bilsteins at the Stock height setting. Will give you about 2.5" of lift also.

The UCAs fix the low caster issue that happens when you lift the front suspension. They start being need around the 2.5" lift height, but are not required.
