Hey everyone. A while back I had a 07 black Sr5 double cab LB. I wound up getting a basic fabtech 6'' suspension lift on 17''KMC revolvers with 33'' Goodyear silent armours. I loved the look of the truck but the ride was stiff. I guess it's what is expected. Well, unexpectedly I had to get rid of the truck about 2 years ago. I have been bummed until now.
I recently bought a 2012 double cab LB Trd sport and I am almost ready to lift it again. I just have some questions first and I know everyone on here would be cool enough to help me out. I am debating between the fabtech 6'' and a 3'' lift. I know what to expect from the 6'' already but, the two things I don't like about it is 1. The price, 2. Losing the turning radius. Is losing it common with a 6'' lift? Do the procomp lifts do the same?
As far as a 3'' I do not want spacers I want to do everything right. I am not a mechanic and have little knowledge with that kind of stuff but will understand with some explanation. I see a lot of trucks on here with the 3'' and like the look. Can some one help me out with a setup with no spacers? I like the look of the lifts and dont do a lot of wheeling. I just want the option if I got in a situation I know I wouldnt have to worry that much about everything. And with a real 3'' lift do the tires still rub? I will be putting 33'' toyo open country mt on 18 fuel hostage. Thanks.
