Broken billy's (shock)

So today i got under my truck and found oil leaking from my rear shock, turned out to be i must of done something to it while driving. How many of you have had this problem with the 5100 or busted shocks?

How much lift in the rear? As per bilstein the 5100's are approved for 0-1" rear lifts only.

This thread has lots of good info.

They're great and ride just like my 5100s but I needed a longer shock for flex! They're 9.25" and ended up getting longer bump stops.....timbrens would do! The collapsed length is 16.25" and they extend to 25.5"
