Did you have to do any trimming?

I ordered the same lift and wonder if I can fit 285's (33).

    thanks

    3" OME lift 885s & Dakars riding on 33" KM2s
Toytec sells a 1.5" AAL to go with the TSB/Canadian leaf packs.
You have to trim for 285s on all but a dropbracket lift.
I put the other 33"s (255/85/16s) on mine and no trimming or rubbing.

Not all Canadian Tacomas came with TSB springs. Only after a certain year (not sure which year) my 06 Canadian Taco has 2 leafs plus overload before my AAL. Same as any American non-TSB.

I have have a similar set up. OME 886 w/OME shocks, Dakar replacement springs in the back w/OME shocks. I also did not get UCA and like you I find it drives just fine. The shop that did my install claims that they have installed 15-20 3" lifts and have never replaced UCA. They claim that you need to get the truck aligned by a good old fashion shop, not a NTB or Firestone than you will be fine. I haven't had it long enough to watch tire wear.

I also have a VERY slight vibration between 6-10 mph, thats it. I was wondering if how this will affect the longevity of the rest of the drive train? Would I need to purchase shims?

BTW, I have a couple hundred miles hauling firewood and the rear springs are awesome. They are exactly what I was looking for, I am just curious if I need to worry about the slight vibrations.

    Thanks

    Billy's 5100 all 'round, 2.5 front
I have 5100's up front set at 2.5". If I get some OME 885's for the front and set the billy's at 0" will it take me to 3" of lift? or do I need either the top plate spacer or set my billy's to .85"?
