Ok, i already have a set of maxtracs on backorder and its estimated to take about 2-3 weeks before they get them in. Obviously Maxtrac is considerably cheaper then a brand new set of Camburg 4" Spindles. I have the money to buy the camburgs and was only hopeing to save the money since it was "available" however id rather stick my d*ck in a meat grinder then wait on parts for my truck. But when it comes right down to it, which is the smarter choice in the long run? MaxTrac or Camburg 4' Spindles?? just looking for opinions.

Why spend more when you can spend less and get the same results. Also you'll have extra $$$ left over to spend elsewhere.

Be patient and get the MaxTrac spindles and certainly don't stick your dick in a meat grinder. That’s straight crazy talk.

I can't speak for Camburg but they seem to have a really strong spindle thats race proven. Though MaxTrac is not....are you racing?

But if you're a weekend warrior and keep it on the road at least 75% of time I'd say DEFINITELY get the Maxtrac at half the price. I've loved mine since they've been on....

In comparison, the Camburg spindle only has a single shear mount with the LCA (notice below), where the MaxTrac has a double shear mount. The MaxTrac is a hefty mofo and doen't look at all that it will bend/break at all before something serious on the truck goes first...they're really stout

That would probably be the toher main difference. I believe the shipping weight was 85 lbs for both my spindles + hardware&lines. Not sure of the Camburgs, but I'm sure lighter since its welded up sheets not solid cast steel.

Old thread but gotta ask.... are there any limitations on what type of components you can use with the maxtrac ( LCA, shocks, etc)?
