    & someone mentioned something about minimal stress on the ends. wrong

    It starts ON the ends & impact transitions down in the form of compression from longest leaf (less resistance to compression)
    to shortest (most resistant) Not all are progressive either..


    Also , you have a problem with any info I'm giving other members ?

    But speaking of "expertise" (as YOU call it) don't you have a crooked slab to pour or a chicken coop to frame up ?

    You suppose the OME engineers factored in a certain amount of interleaf friction for the Tacoma Dakars when they designed them or you think they just threw together some shit?

    I'd expect one need not worry about such a thing on a spring pack on a Tacoma with a decent shock setup but just curious. I'd actually think reducing friction in this case would result in a better ride. Maybe not noticeably though.
