Procomp MX 2.75 Coilovers

Anybody have any experience with these?

I just ordered some as they are designed for my 6" kit, but curious on their performance. I realize they are not Fox or King, but would like some info as to how they perform offroad and maybe some travel specs.

What benefit does the 2.75" over 2.0" or 2.5" provide?

Most high end shox are 2.5"

thanks

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

The larger diameter yields more oil capacity, makeing them less likely to heat up, and loose dampening ability. I havent heard any good reports on the Pro Comps, so maybe you can be the first.

From what I have gathered online, It looks like the springs are manufactured by Eibach, and they are scragged, so they should be a pretty good spring. They are MUCH longer than the other coilovers, so Im guessing they may have used a softer spring rate, which should net a decent street ride, and some good flex off road. Keep us posted.
