Yes, you will need an alignment. I wouldnt do it myself without an alignment rack.

True if you do it before free allignmemt but i would drive without one, alot of people have done the install of the shocks not to hard if you have the time and the right tools.

Not too hard. The hardest part is haveing the springs compressed.
