Rear Lift w/ LEER cap question?

    Guys,

    I am about to order my new suspension components:

    -LR UCA's
    -5100's w/885 OME coils (set at 0) for about 2.5" of front lift
    -5100 Rear shocks
    -1.5 or 2" inch rear lift (AAL or block, undecided)

    I am going to put a LEER cap on the truck. I want the truck to ride level, with no rake.

    Should I get a 1.5" rear lift or 2" lift to offset the weight of the cap? Your thoughts?

    The Dakars are made for the weight. Other than that a 2" aal

    Icon or Wheeler's 1.5" AAL and leave the overload leaf in place. Gives you 2" of lift and rides great with a shell.

    Even the Dakars will sag some under the constant weight of a cap , mine sagged 5/8" in just over a year with my commercial Leer cap , the 100RCC

    When I bought it, Leer camper shell, N-Fab nerf bars, Westin bull bar. So far I've put K&N air filter and Jet Performance throttle body spacer, lights behind grill, snorkel, custom grill, and weather tech floor mats. Axe and shovel w/bed mounts, high lift jack w/bed mount, and Brute force fab rear bumper.
    I have an inch and a quarter on the front and then did a add a-leaf in the rear, with or without my LEER cap my truck sits level. I might do a 3 inch left one day but I like how it sits and rides.

    Which 2" AAL does everyone recommend. I would like the Dakar leaf packs, just cant afford 400.00 for the rear alone right now. Thanks!

    My 200lb LEER 100LX Compresses my rear suspension about an inch.
    This holds true for the original 3 leaf pack and the TSB 4 leaf pack.
