I just finished installing the toytec Ultimate lift along with aal and 1 inch shackle at the back. I just realize that the front end is sitting too high. My front end is extra 2 inches high than the rear (front sitting at 25" and rear sitting 23inches, I measured them from centre of the hub to the bottom of the fender fare). The front was measured at 22 1/2-3/4 to start off, I don't rmb what was the stock high at the rear, but I don't know why the rear end is sitting so low.... Any help/advises/suggestions??? PS it's a 2001 crew cab. ( it sit taller at the rear before i install the lift)

Lower the front! My "pre-set" height was 4"+ and rode like ass! Lower them to 22.5-23" and you'll be set!

alright, i would give it a try. But i was wondering if it's my rear leaf being too old and possibly dead. I know the toytec is pre-set at 2.5 inches and shouldn't my rear end be level by adding the aal and 1 inch shackle? any thought?

PS anyone one know how to adjust the height on bilstein 5100???

On the 5100 you need to change the spring seat location to change the height.

If you have the ULT kit, it has adjustable collars at the bottom! Use the spanner wrenchs to lower the height! The 5100's are installed at the 0 setting by Toytec!

That is a bit, odd... You got 2 1/2 to 3/4" lift in the front? That seems about right.... :notsure: I'd say wait about a week before you do anything to see if the front end will settle a bit. But if it doesn't maybe the stock leaf packs are pretty tired out. How miles are on the truck?

Keep in mind that if you're going for a level truck, the front measurement (hub to fender) is actually going to be larger than the rear measurement because the front fender goes up higher than the rear. (I don't know exactly how much though... sorry.) If you haven't taken that into consideration, than you might want to take measurements from your frame to see if it's level... :notsure: Got a picture of the truck and the suspension components?

Thanks guys...I am gonna take everyone's advise and drive it for a bit and see. it has 200,000km on it and everything were stock until last week. It seems like my front seattle a little, but still a bit on the high side. I haven't got a chance to actually measure it, but no excuses ... hahahaha

Alright, it's been after a week or so....my front end settle a bit and the rear seems to rises a little... still not level but acceptable... HOWEVER, I drove my truck to a locate 4x4 shop, which they say my rear leaf pack is pretty much done. my AAL is supporting the rest so the old Leafs are sad and the AAL is happy there's a cap between them.... they advise me to replace my leaf pack with OME, but another shop is telling me they could fix it by adding a longer leaf n bent the old leaf to the original spec....this is the question...
-New leaf pack + installed $777
    -Old leaf pack renewal $550

Which one should I go with..?????
