Details: 2012 DCSB TRD Sport 4x2
    Toytec's Eibach Springs
5100 shocks (set at 0 lift)
    Moto Metal 16x8
    Hankook Dynapro tires

Got a question for the truck guru's here. I put the shocks/springs on four or five months ago. I've had it aligned three times after getting lifetime alignment at firestone for cheap. Three different firestones...(Yes I've read threads where they aren't good)

The truck just doesn't drive good. I had an 07 before with 5100s/stock springs and it was a lot better than this. I've read plenty on here about how they can give a "floating" feeling when the alignment isn't right. That's pretty much my experience. It's hugely wind sensitive, hard to keep on road in a stiff crosswind. It follows bumps/divets in the road really bad too. It just makes for an around annoying driving experience. I have told the alignment guys what I am looking for each time (camber and toe 0 and caster 2.4 or highest) Results are here for the last two times. They say this is as good as can get.

    Caster 1.9 1.7
    Camber .3 -.2
    Toe .04 .04

    Caster 1.8 2.3
    Camber .7 .6
    Toe .05 .05

I know the caster is low and from reading it sounds like that is giving me the issues. My trucks a 4x2 and I got more lift than I was really expecting out of the Eibachs but it was no more than 2.5. Think it was around 2.25 actually. Tires/Rims are only one size up from stock and I hopefully not causing much issue.

My question/options are this: Is it worth it to keep trying alignments at Firestone? Should I take it to a truck shop for an alignment and pay for that and see if they can do better? Should I go ahead and get new UCA's for it, slap them on and then take back to Firestone?

    thanks for any insight!

Those aren't good numbers...so you need to change something. UCAs are the easy first step.

So it's been a while since I've been on the forum and I just noticed the alignment sticky. Sounds like I'm on track anyways with the problem. Thanks for the words Bruce.

Anyone else have thoughts on the original options for my next step...otherwise it's time to shell out for uca's.

Personally I don't think you'll get it too much more dialed in. Those are absolutely symptoms of low caster and you won't get much better with the lift.

Really the numbers aren't that bad but if you're not happy with the way it drives then I would just aim for new UCAs and then for 0, 0, 2.5+ and both sides the same.
