    My buddy is interested in getting a leveling kit. We are in high school and have to pay for our own gas, so he was wondering how a leveling kit would effect mpg?

    Not much but the tires will be a huge change. Tires made me go from 17mpg mixed to 13-14.

    X2.......I'm 17 and also pay for my own gas, did the 3inch leveling kit and 33's and dropped to 12-13 mpg. Mickey Thompson MTZ's right now but my advice is to level the front out and do all terrain tires, exactly what I'm about to do. Check out KPT's build, great lookin truck! :D
