Any members willing to share pics of a Tacoma with 3" lift running 265/75/16 tires? Am planning on installing lift but can't afford larger wheels/tires at this point. Want to make sure truck will look ok...Thanks

i think one of the best tacoma truck looks is the 265/75-16 on the stock wheels, with a 3" leveling kit and nothing else. don't see it often but that iis the direction i'm going in, it's a subtle change and very functional in most off road conditions that i'll find myself in.

At first I didn't probably just cause it is different. I definitely do now though. If we weren't still running the exact same engine, I would have one

I didn't like it at first either...I think it has really grown on a lot of people.

Totally agree...however it is awesome when BOTH come together beautifully! Could not be happier with my lift...

Avid light bar looks AWESOME on the 2012 imho. I was going to get a plate bumper with a winch but no one was offering a perfect fit, and the front end grew on me so much I didn't want to "wreck" it! Not feeling a huge need for a winch...twenty years of desert expeditions and haven't needed one yet...but I have a nylon tow rope at least in case I need to be pulled out of a gully. Plus, the added weight of a plate bumper (lowering the truck) isn't appealing, either. Did have a huge need for additional lighting, however. So I kept the bumper and Brandon at Avid provided fabulous service.

Just get tired of everyone asking what looks "cool"........especially when this forum has about 30 threads on the same stupid topic.

No one seems to care about function any more.

I agree this size as well as 265/70/17 is nice. I have 5 of them sitting on my deck on sport wheels. I do prefer my 255/85/16's because they function better for my needs. I could care less what one looks cooler. My 16" wheels cost me $12.50 per and function great.

Every time I hear "what looks good" I think of a bunch of chicks trying on dresses babbling to each other like a bunch of chicken heads :)
