Best way to get a lift

I've been thinking about getting a 3 inch lift for my 2008 Tacoma DC LB. I spent countless hours on researching the best lift. I am just going for more aggressive look and I don't want to sacrifice the ride. After all this research, this is what I came up with. Bilstein 5100s in the front and AAL in the rear. I am also thinking about getting a eibach springs. Please let me know if this will work. Thanks guys!

 

Under 500. I don't do any off roading

 

I dont think you can get 3" with 500 and not sacrifice the ride sir, pick two.

 

@ truknight, I'm talking about 5100s and AALs. Can u put an aftermarket coils with the 5100s in the front?

 

yes you can, and should. Eibach coils or ome coils, and a small top plate spacer (1/4'' ish)to get 3'' and then get a 1.5'' AAL to sit level, or 2" AAL if you want some rake.

 

You can get a lift with that setup yes, but at 3" I dont think youll be happy with the ride quality based on what ive read about it.

Just avoid things like spacers, blocks and body lifts like the plague.

Are you a pre runner or a 4x4 btw? it matters.

Just aim for 2.5 in instead of 3, then you can avoid a diff drop, a sway bar relocate and probably a new set of UCArms, and possibly new brake lines. There seem to be nothing but draw backs for getting that extra .5 in that not many people will notice.

For 2.5 you just need 5100s, an AAL, and maybe new coils, that should keep you under $500 if you do the work yourself.
