So I just had a 3 inch Icon lift installed with the icon leaf pack and the Icon tubular UCAs. Everything looks well and good and the ride is great, way better than stock suspension.

When I stop the truck rocks back and forth a bit. In detail when driving it has a nice roll over big bumps and creases in the road. Very smooth when driving around and cornering as well.

When I stop though the truck kind of bounces a small bit. I mean a small bit but it is noticeable.

    Is this normal?

Maybe you're stopping too hard? Mine isn't noticeable at all!

Well from what I have read axle wrap is the thud from your weekend springs. My springs are brand new and I have the 3 leaf Icon pack added to my stock pack without the overload spring.

Feel free to correct if I am wrong here.

This is not jarring or anything of the sort. It is just a very fluid rocking back and forth when stopping.

If I try I can stop slow and softly enough to where it does not happen at all.

Let me know if there are any more ideas.

This does not feel like a major issue, I just want to make sure that everything is proper before a tire falls off or something crazy.

That is a sign of soft valving... more damping means stiffer ride. Do you really want to make that trade?

So i realized that it was all normal. The rocking stopped when I am stopping.

You are right about not sacrificing the quality of the ride. It is like butter ride now so I would not change a thing.

    Thanks for your posts.
