2012 TSB Question

After some searching, I'm still unsure whether or not the 2012 TRD DC Sports come with TSB rear springs or not. The reason I ask is because I just installed Bilstein 5100's up front set at 1.75" with stock coils, and it is nose high by about .25". Is this TSB or no?

Alright. Well I'm slightly hesitant about lifting the rear 1.5" with AAL's because I don't want to make my 265/70/17's look small.

I didn't think there was a TSB for springs for the 2012. Got my 2012 Prerunner DCSB back at the beginning of July and only have 1500 miles. I have a Leer 180 canopy on it and the 3 leaf springs are flat, no arch. supposed to be like that?

I have the 2013 and it looks just like the OP rear springs. 4 instead of the 3.

Shocks do not affect ride height.

They're ride height adjustable coilovers. The coilspring controls ride height, not the shock.

You might be surprised at the number of people that don't know the distinction between the two. It's almost as big a problem as people who don't know how to identify TSB springs.

Well, are they even considered "TSB" springs if they come from the factory with 4 leafs?

No , TSB springs is just a way of describing them here on TW

FWIW , Canadian Tacomas have come stock with the 4 leaf " TSB " springs since '07

Guess Toyota figures we use our trucks as trucks and you guys want a car ride and zero load capacity

Thought TSB meant Technical Service Bulletin, so Mother Toyota didn't have to say recall. I guess I'm wrong. So TSB means 4 leaf on this forum?

So where do I stand on my 2012 Prerunner. It has only 3 springs. Will dealership/Toyota fix this by adding an extra leaf at no charge or will I have to pay for an upgrade.
