2003 with 120k miles. I'm getting the 5100s all around, from reading on here I think thats an easy decision. Its a dd so I want to upgrade my suspension and get a little bit of height with it. Should I go with the toytec aal, a progressive aal (wheelers or icon), or a new set of leaf packs like the OME dakar? I'm really interested in the icon aal set but is it worth it on my leaf springs or would it be in my best interest to replace the leaf springs? I'm looking for the best bang for my buck but also want something that will last a long time.

Are your current leaf springs Flat or are they Frowning over the axle? Do you haul much weight in the bed of the truck?
The 3 Leaf aal set is the best riding, and makes the leaf pack function better. But if you need extra load support then the Single Leaf style aal is the better option.

Added a pic of each side. I don't haul a ton of weight so load support isn't a main concern.

Your springs don't look too bad. I would suggest the 3 leaf aal set along with the 5100s.

Is there any major difference between the wheelers progressive aal and the icon aal? Besides about $50? It looks like they both come with the longer U bolts.

Don't think so but you can get a heavy duty 3 leaf pack from wheelers that I would have gotten if I had known when I bought my icon. I think its only $10 more.

On the other hand I am very happy with my icon aal.
