Just looking to see what it looks like and what size tire everyone has with this setup. TSB already comes complete from the factory so I'm assuming I don't have to do anything to the rear to run 285's... I'm getting procomp 7005 wheels with 4.5 back spacing.

I just decided to level... 265's is plenty for me, especially with 5" backspacing on 18x9 wheels :)

No I don't go off-roading, ever, so I used a 1" top plate spacer. The knock on most spacer lifts is when you try to get 2.5 or 3" out of them and then try to wheel like a trophy truck.

With that said - if you go off-roading, don't do what I did. Buy 5100's or OME.

Yes - DIY with spacers is pretty easy if you reserach it enough, takes about 3-4 hours if you know what youre doing. I didn't the first time, so it took me about 6 or 7. 5100's would require a spring compressor though, which I didn't have to use to do my leveling.

by the way i'm not talking about 'off roading' down to the nearest pond/hunting spot, that stuff is fine with a leveling kit - it is still a truck after all. and with my leveling kit (1" spacer) that means i'd have to use all but 2" of my truck's total travel to bottom out the strut, which I'm never going to do if i'm going 15 miles per hour down a dirt road.

What you don't want to do is go mudding or pre-running or some crap with a leveling kit -thats just asking for trouble.

Well if you can tell the difference between a 2" leveling kit and 5100's set at 1.75" based purely on the stance of the truck, I'll give you a cookie. Your request was to see pics, my post accomplishes that. :)

Spacers are fine if you're on the highway 99.9% of the time, and you're not driving like you're in the BAJA 3000 for the other 0.1%.

Haha we Love Pictures don't we! In the back of my mind I'm still thinking Ready Lift spacers but that's like a .05% chance... I'm thinking Toytec/Bilstien coil overs with a 1 1/2 over TSB AAL because I want to go 285. But my truck is my DD for my garage floor epoxy biz plus it gets me back and fourth to the fire station so I'm more than likely going with 5100 at 1.75 with pro comp 7005 and Trail Grappler MT!! Pumped!
