5100s or springs

    hey i have 2006 sr5 i wanted to level the front should i only get the 5100s for the front set at 1.75 or should i also replace the stock coils with the eibach and set the 5100s at .85.

    I depends if you have the $$$.

    The better option would be to have eibach springs and 5100's because there would be less preload on the spring giving you a smoother ride.

    Over 100k miles? might as well replace the springs.

    hey guys yes i rather get the 5100s with the springs i heard some people say that u shouldnt use the 5100s with aftermarket springs.so do u think that the 5100s set at .85 with eibach springs should level the front.the truck has 62000 miles on it .

    Front 5100s @ 0, OME 844s, Rear 5100s, AFE pro dry filter
    5100s @ 0 with Eibach should level (or come close to, pending if you have the rear 4 leaf pack). Also, OME 884 springs with 5100s @ 0 would also work. I have this set up and i'm damn near level (bout 1/2-3/4" higher in the rear).

    I don't remember exactly but I believe the eibachs alone will get you close to level.

    thanks guys its nice to hear from people who have done it.i have the 3 leaf spring model iguess that was on the older models. i'll get the springs and shocks
