Scuff Paint on Coils? Struts?

How many if any of you scuff any of the coils paint or strut paint when installing coils? I seem to be pretty bad at it.... I touched up the coils with some black latex enamel as well as the ome struts. They were not terribly screwed up but you get my drift. Is there any real big concerns about long run performance had I not touched the coils or struts up?

I put one strut together myself at home with a spring compressor and scuffed up the coil and I took the other one to the shop to get it put together (ended up getting called into work so I was rushed) and the shop scuffed up that coil abit, not too worried about it
