Cut thru the metal sleeve that the bushings go in... So they went to the trash and TC uppers went on the truck.

I would say your bushings are done for sure.

The new boots are a much tighter fit in general. I don't have pictures of my old boots but one actually fell off. LOL They were also a lot looser around the base.

Today I installed the new specRide bushings and new ball joints.

Completely removed the squeaking I had.

The new bj boots are a tighter fit on the bottom and a tighter clamp on the top. The ribs don't contact the spring any more.

Hey fellas, I've got the same squeak on my TC UCAs when I turn the wheel. I put WD40 on the ball joint and it's been quiet for now. But I really feel like it needs more lubrication/grease. How should I go about this? There's no zirx fitting for the BJ.

    Thanks in advance
    Luke

Don't use wd-40. This is also an old thread.

I have light racing uca. I'm not too sure exactly what you're supposed to use that's why I didn't answer. I believe a teflon spray. Try a search in Google but type in "tacomaworld" and it will find threads easier.

    Too few to list.
Teflon based spray. WD-40 is food base.

Cool thanks, does it need to be disassembled when applying the spray?
