Lift advice for a complete novice...

Hello out there TW, I am still very new to the community, but am devouring threads by the hour...

There are many helpful threads here, thank you to all that created them, including the sticky regarding all things "Lift."

Here's my question... Maybe asking it this manner will help others as well.

I am the proud owner of a 2012 TRD, Off Road, DCSB. I'd like to raise the stance of the truck just a teeny tiny smidgen. 1-3".

Will Bilstein's 5100 Ride Height Adj shocks help in that regard? (These can be fitted to front and rear correct?)

Or, do I need to pursue a more intense lift kit option?

Thanks to all that can help, or migth have done this to their Tacoma with some feedback.

Get some 5100's and set them at 1.75" and level the front out and you don't have to deal with UCA issues.

I went with bilsteins all around, eibach coils and an add a leaf I'm happy with the ride and never needed new uca. With the eibachs coils I set the bilsteins at .85

5100s with Eibach coils set at 0" will lift you around 1.6" & set at .85" you'll get around 2.5".
I chose the OME 885s on Sport Nitros up front & got 3" (you'll get 2.5" to 2.75") and the OME Dakar leaf pack got me 3" in back with the weight of a shell.

Thank you all for the comments. Am I hearing correctly that I can upgrade the shocks in all corners and that will 'lift' me just a tad? This sounds great, as I'm not ready to take the plunge on a leaf spring, block etc method.

Noted... I think it's clear now. Thanks for the info. In that case, to best match the front and rear what is a tried and true, trusted minimum lift school of thought?
