lift question!

    Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
    so my lift came in the mail today, its the 2.5front 1.5 rear rough country lift

    can someone explain how the spacer is only 1.5 inches max.. and how it lifts the front 2.5?!
    i want to be familiar with my truck : ] ive only worked on my 66 mustang, and they are quite different.

    also what are the biggest tires i could run? i was hoping to get 285/75R16
    would these fit on a stock rim with the lift?

    its a 2002 Tacoma Prerunner

    2019 Rubicon 4 Door,
    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Being as the shock/spring assembly is 1/2 way between the "A" arm pivot point, and the spindle, a 1.5" spacer will yeild a 3" lift. In the rear, the axel is solid, so a 1" lift via block or spring, will give 1" lift.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    A 285/75/16 on the stock wheels will rub the bejeezus out of the Upper Control Arm. Best bet is getting replacement Upper Control Arms, Different wheels with a different off set, or a wheel spacer.

    yea i found that out the hard way when i had my leveling kit i finally got rid of that and went to 3 inch toytec with my rims a 4.5 inch backspacing
