I know almost nothing about lifting/suspension upgrades. I bought a pre-owned '09 Tacoma Base model. I'm not sure what's been done to it before I got it. It seems that the previous owner lifted it, but I've seen other Tacomas with the same height of suspension. I've also seen 2nd Gen Tacos with smaller wheels and suspension.

Did Toyota sell 2009 Tacomas with a higher suspension? Or is this something the previous owner did? Can you tell what kind from the pictures?

looks stock to me. The 4x4 reg cabs sit a lot higher than the 4x2's

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You need to get picks of the front coilover (specifically the top) and the leaf pack in order to verify if it has been lifted.
