Full OME lift with Dakars, 886s and LR UCA's, Firestone air bags w\ onboard compressor, 2 kicker CVT 10" subs , MB Quart 1000w amp ,Alpine media player
I just helped a buddy install a full OME kit on his 1st gen tacoma. He is a planning on a steel bumper so was going after the 883 coils. when it all arrived the coils were 881's, so we contacted the supplier and apparently ome only makes 880s and 881s for the 1st gens now and the 881s are for the added weight. So we got it all installed and noticed the rear end being way higher than the front to the point the rake looked ridiculous. So another call was made and we were told we could remove a leaf from the dakars. now this sounds pretty chicken shit to me, why sell a full ome lift kit if the height of the front and rear don't match up. anyways he's trying to break the dakars in by hauling weight and seeing if they will settle. have any of you guys installed the ome kit recently on a 1st gen and what do you think.
