question for adjusting Icon coilovers.
I want to adjust my coilovers myself rather than pay someone to do it but I dont know how to go about it. I have the spanner wrench but I need some help. Can anyone give me step by step instructions or photos on adjusting them? Thanks in advance!

There is a nut that holds the ring against the shock..then you just use the wrench to spin the ring around...jack the wheels off the ground before doing so of course

There's no nut on Icons. The ring has a grub screw.
See my picture below. The threaded ring has holes where the Icon spanner wrench inserts.
1. Jack up the truck somewhere on the frame until both wheels are off the ground.
2. Use a marker and draw a line on the shock body at the base of the ring, so you know how far you've cranked the ring.
3. Loosen the grub screw with an allen key.
4. Use the spanner wrench to turn the ring.
5. Motion ratio between shock and wheel is approx 3:5. e.g. Cranking the ring by 0.30" changes ride height by about 0.50".
6. Tighten the grub screw. Do not overtighten or you can mash the threads. The ring has considerable friction on its own.
You bought this spanner, right?

Be sure to get before and after measurements.
-Measure center of wheel to fender at ride height.
-Jack up the truck
-Loosen set screw (5/32" allen)
-Crank the coilovers
-Put your truck back on the ground
-Scrub out the suspension (Roll/Drive it back and forth a few times)
-Remeasure to the same place after.
-Repeat if necessary
-Re-tighten set screw (bottom out screw +45 degrees)
-Put WD40 on the adjuster nut and cylinder threads. As well as the bottom of coil cup to make it easy to adjust (adjuster and spring will rotate together @ the coil cup/rodend)
-Make adjustments around half tank of gas so the ride hight doesn't change too drastically from full to empty
-Check ride height front to back AND left to right (Magnetic levels on the frame under the cab and on the front core support)
-After market UCA owners: Check clearance between coil spring and UCA at full droop. Rotate adjuster ~90 degrees left or right to clear spring to avoid interference issues with added down travel
