Well, got a couple hours to start installing my OME + Dakar + LR UCA today. While doing my measurements before starting, I noticed that I didn't have the infamous Taco lean I've got 20 1/4'' from center of wheel to fender for both sides in front and 22 1/8 on both side on the back. The bed is empty and a bit more than half a tank of gas.(2012 DCAB LB).

Is the Taco lean something that develops?

Should I still add a trim packer on the driver's side?

BTW, I also measured the angle of the driveshaft, rear is 4.30 and front is 5.00 deg. Will report back once the install is complete in a few days.

Taco lean is corrected with stock springs by having a longer one on the driver side.
Aftermarket springs are the same length so you need to add the trim packer (for OME) or a spacer for others to compensate & maintain level.

Thanks. Took a chance and installed it last weekend. Good thing I did, it's sitting straight with the lift kit.

I had the lean on my stock set up, with my 5100's @ 2.5" (stock springs) and now with my 5100's @0 and my 885's

I'm nice & even with my 885s on Nitro Sports with a trim packer.

Sorry to thread jack, do you any of you have pics of the shock/spring assembled to show the placement of the trim packer?

I don't have a pic but it goes on the bottom spring perch between the spring perch & coil on the driver side shock.
