going from 1.5 in lift blocks in the back to 2.5. Does anybody know if standard shocks will work for this?

With 2.5" you're going to need extended shocks

If you don't duly flex your rear you can get away with 5100's model c-476 but if you do fully flex the rear you might need to get the RCD Bilstein for 3"-4" rear lift just modify the bump stops so you don't bottom it out. But call Wheelers Offroad and talk to Dan or Johnny.
