Choosing a 3 inch Lift Block/spacer Kit after the TSB? What are my options??

I recently got the rear leaf TSB done. I kinda like the trucks angle and overall look (plus more ground clearance) so instead of doing a lift and level I have decided that if possible I want to just lift my truck 3 inches in the front and back. All done as cheap as possible but still pretty good quality.

Front: Either the toytec 3 inch spacer $140, but I did find this on Ebay which is tempting but probably poor quality.

Back: Because I have gotten the TSB done I figure I need blocks. Does anyone make a 3 inch block kit, can I just buy universal blocks or should I get the 1 1/2" inch toytec kit and add another 1 1/2" block.

well I can't really offer anything towards who manufacturers a 3 inch block kit, but in all honesty I would go with the ome spring/TSB AAL package from toytec, will yield a much better ride and it is not much more expensive than your $250 limit. just to clarify, you gained no actual ground clearance.

 

A 3" lift is usually 3" of lift up front and 1.5" of lift in the rear.

For the front, on the lower end you can go with Spacers (I'd advice against this). For $169 you can get adjustable Bilstien 5100s that will give you up to 2.5" of lift in the front and a better ride. If you want the 5100s contact Downsouth Motorsports, they are a vender here and have them for the cheapest price out there SHIPPED.

Toytec recently released a rear AAL that works with the TSB leafs, so you don't have to run blocks.

Under $200 for an entire lift is a pretty low budget. You can do it with Spacers/Blocks, but I wouldn't suggest it.

Yea Id still like to get a full three inches in the back. Any opinions on the ebay spacer kit? TacoTRD ill look into it Bolles Baseball has me pretty busy but it sounds like alot of fun.

 

if you put a 3" lift on the rear it will be like 4 inches higher than the front

 

I have 3 inch spacers in the front from EZ-lift (extremetrucktoys.com) that were only $120 shipped. Then in the back I have the rear TSB and 1.5" blocks from wheelersoffroad.com that were only $69 shipped! So, for a total of $189 I got a 3 inch lift and I think it looks amazing and rides/handles fine. It obviously isn't the most popular way of lifting, but it works. Check the link below for pics! You'll see that with the 1.5" block and TSB you get the 3" lift in the rear and it looks great. If you tried to add another 1.5" in the rear (your 3 inch block) the rear would be WAY higher than the front!!
