Spacer goes on top. But you will probably need to get an alignment after adding the top plate spacer.

I just called wheelers. No free shipping. Shipping is going to run me $168. So total door to door is $1327.

Toytec OME kit: ( + w/ extended brake line)
Door to door is $1224. That's me building it on their site and using coupon code. I am going to call toytec to make certain my shipping will only be $98 as per their website says.

    $100 price difference....!

Weird. Maybe my shipping cost, or lack thereof, was due to my proximity to Oregon. Or maybe now they charge shipping :notsure:

    Good luck with your purchase!

Wow a lot has happened in here since I went to work.
    ^ I agree ^
    Think of it this way.
You have a right triangle, the vertical leg is your ride height, the horizontal leg is your LCA & the angled leg is your UCA (yes I know they aren't connected like this but it helps explain). Your shock & coil are mounted verticaly between LCA & UCA. If you increase the lenght of shock & coil 1/4" the ride height increases 1/2".
And gives more down travel due to ball joint limits?

Not with an OME lift. I'm fairly certain downtravel is limited by the shock, not the ball joint. With extended travel, that's arguably the reason to go with uniball vs. ball joint but I've also heard the LR UCA's will work with mid-travel lifts also.

    From spc website-
    Q. I have a lift kit, will the control arms handle the increased angle?
    A. These control arms have approximately 20˚more articulation capability than your OEM arms (85˚for the SPC vs. 65˚for the stock ball joint.) If your stock arms had sufficient travel in the ball joint, these arms will not be the limiting factor to suspension travel.

Does the LCA also limit downtravel? I didnt loosen the LCA bolts when i installed my 885s and i had to pry down on the LCA to get the shock in place.

No, it just stresses the LCA bushing. You really should loosen the LCA, set the truck to it's new ride height, and retighten. Not really required but it helps sort of relieve the stress on the LCA bushing (that'll happen when it's aligned anyways). The pressure you had to put on the LCA was because of the rubber bushings and I don't believe the LCA ball joints are the limiting factor either.

Thanks, good to now, after i typed that i pretty much realized it was the bushings. I didn't pry down on the very hard at all. I was cautious after reading bjmooses right up, i think he had an issue caused by prying down on the LCA to hard.

I'm about to order the springs and 5100s, I want to do the 885s and leave the back the stock height, I have 2" spacers so I have a .5" lift which is barely noticeable in the front, I have a Pre runner AC v6 and guys say they get 2.7" in the front with the 885s, would it be too much of a "bro lean" or would it look just a little higher in the front, I'm running 285s btw to

Yeah you would look good with 2.7-3.25" front(depending what you get cause your access cab) and 2" in the rear. No bro lean at all :D

I have 1.75" in the front now and I'm not bro at all, I'm leveled. Max he gets is 3.25" front which leaves a difference of 1.25" Your rear is 2" taller then the front

Your not using the spacer which is .5" with it correct?

Well I wanted a Pre runner look, so I wasn't going to put anything in the back just the new 5100 shocks, but no AAL or blocks, so it would stay stock

You mean the LT look? You do realize LT trucks don't sit that much taller than stock trucks, right?
