With a cap , all that gear and a rear plate bumper I would strongly suggest adding the OME AAL ( d29xl ) to the Dakars or go with the Allpro Expo leaf pack

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
If you order from DSM just call them up and tell them you are a tacomworld member. Also if you order from them you will need new bushings for the rear eye of the dakars.

I cant imagine the AAL's are that difficult to do myself. With no load on them, and a couple C/D Clamps I think I could do it myself to save some money.

Frankly, I'm broke hahahahahal. I'm trying to sell off any and all the gear and 'things' that I'm not using anymore to afford this. But with the gear i have already, its necessary.

I would check shipping costs differences between dakars, AAL & Dakars + AAL.
If not much difference you might want to order the Dakars & see if you need the AAL. I carry around 100lbs in addition to my shell and still have plenty of lift (plus you already have the air bags if you need them until the AAL arrives).
You will probably want help with the Dakars (and AAL) if only to slide the bolts in. Those suckers are heavy.

I was hoping to get the AAL & Dakars shipped together. I cant imagine the shipping would be less if it was separate.

You must know something I don't when it comes to the shipping here with this. Whats the deal?

In The 15 gal water = 125lbs full, plus the 6 people including myself that are in the truck daily. After all the gear is installed, I can see it being another 500# added to the truck. I'd prefer to do all the work on one area of the truck at the same time so i do not have to revisit it in the near future.

Currently, I use the Air Bags to compensate for the loads I carry. I was hoping to move away from that and use them for the initial intended purpose, towing.

If anyone is looking to sell or trade their Dakars... I have some time for me to save up to afford them.

I was just thinking that if it didn't cost much more (and some places offer free shipping on things other than Dakars) you might want to try the Dakars without the AAL first. They can handle a lot of weight.

I agree , but your example is one trip , not constant weight

how much are they rated for oz? I want to haul some landscaping blocks in the bed but im unsure about how many lbs I can safely haul home for like 3 miles.

The Dakars do no increase the factory load capacity of the truck , they only change how it reacts to weight
