Yep. After driving it a couple days it rubs when turning in reverse. I guess the springs settled a little.

After install, is it possible to see if the 95PF5 trim packer is in place? Or is it essentially hidden?

Just had my OME installed by a local shop, and after measuring the driver side is still 1/4" lower than passenger. Not that I have a reason to distrust these guys, but they did seem a little confused about the trim packer in general this morning, so now I'm curious....

Gas tank is about 3/4 full.

You should be able to see it right under the bottom of the spring seat, gold/brass colored ring.

Thanks for the pic. Just checked - it's there.

My OCD is bummed about still being 1/4" low though. I'll live.

I've been driving it around, doing errands, and taking multiple measurements.

There's obviously a bit of variation in my measuring skills, but my previous claim of 1/4" low seems to be a bit generous. After multiple measurements it's usually 3/8", or more, low. Meh.

    Thoughts?

Should I have the trim packer taken out and a thicker spacer put in?

Is it just me, or is that a pic of the trim packer on the passenger side?

Go put some gas in it and eat a couple double burgers. That'll help level it out some.

    Fixed it for you.

It's the drivers side that's low - even with the packer.

It could be worse! I have the trim packer and 1/2" spacers on both sides and am 1/2" short on the driver side and overall about 3/4" low compared to the heights everyone else is getting. It ends up I'm going to try and add another 3/8" spacer To both sides to get it where I want and take out 1/4" on the passenger side to compensate for the 1/2" side difference.

Yeah, I remember reading about your install. That's pretty terrible - I'd be pissed. Wasn't your problem though that they were installed wrong or something? Or maybe that's just what a couple people were guessing..... How can these setups have so much variation?

Here's another question: is it true that these coils settle over time? Because right now I'm at the minimum of what I wanted from this lift. I was expecting 1.5" from what others were saying for a DCSB, but realistically it's barely over an inch. I'd hate to have to pay labor on swapping coils out.

thought about it but, that's more money and possibly trial and error. I've tried so many things so far that I'm afraid if I totally change that then I could put it back together only to have to adjust it some more. I'm almost to the point of buying a set of coilovers if this next spacer change doesn't work. But, I don't wheel anywhere close enough to constitute spending that amount of money on my front alone. That's the whole reason I chose OME.

I don't believe they settle. From my reseach they used to and then they came out with the current version 885X that doesn't.

I've looked it over rom every different angle and have had local professionals look at the install. No one can see anything wrong with the install. I just have shitty luck. But, I uess it's karma cause I was buying parts with out the wife knowing . As far as she know I have a spacer kit :D

Well I have the 883's, which is the same coil as the 884/885. Not sure what that X designation is. If they settle lower though I'm going to be pretty bummed. I'm already worried about putting my tires on this Monday the way it is.

haha, I think you figured it out, man. I didn't tell my wife about this lift either. Oh my god, they know. They know and they cursed us.
