265/75/16 Tire/Lift To Level Truck

Right now as my Tacoma sits the rear looks a bit higher up than the front. I have 245/75/16 tires and I am most likely getting 265/75/16 very soon and I'd like to level out the truck without getting a 2.5 inch lift with 1.5 inch aal..because a lift that big just makes the tires look small. I think I just want to lift the front of my truck to make it level with the rear. What will I need to achieve this? My truck is a 2010 double cab pre-runner.

 

Just get some 5100 for the front if you wana better than stock ride and good if your on a budget or if you wana spend the cash you can get oem replacement coilovers like king/fox/saw/icon

 

You can simply get top plate spacers ... On Ebay for $50
Easy to install ... Doesn't affect the smooth ride , but levels the truck

Bilstein 5100's at 1.75" and call it good.

 

I just spoke to a guy at 4wheelparts he said with my 2012 dc with the tow package I would need the 5100's in the front set at 2.5 to level it out with the stock coils. Is that right? or will I need to add a leaf?

 

The general rule of thumb around here is to believe the exact opposite of anything 4wp says.

I was nose high at 1.75" front and stock rear. The 0.85 setting will level you out.

 

I have the 2012 leaf pack. It is supposed to be corrected from the earlier years that needed the TSB. You think I could get away with the 1.75 in the front without looking to nose high. Is it worth a few hundred bucks for less than 2 inches in the front. Or should I add a leaf and do the 2.5. im going to be on my new stock tires 265/65/17 for awhile. I might do rims now though. Your truck looks sick by the way

I dont know if this makes a difference but I have a skid plate and avid bar on the front. Will the extra wieght pull a 2.5 level or the 1.75?
