Help removing front shock boots?!

Hey, cant find a way to get my boots off the front shocks.
Anyone know how? Already got the spring perch lose and looks as if the only way to get it off is by removing the shock boot also.
Anyone has tips/tricks and advice?!Help removing front shock boots?!-imageuploadedbytapatalk1358485915.127287.jpgHelp removing front shock boots?!-imageuploadedbytapatalk1358485924.708806.jpg

Didnt wanna turn it into a crapstorm so didnt state why. Installing new spring perches for lowering kit. Got the factory perch knocked loose and it has to come off. Cant fit over lip in the shock so has to go down. Which requires the boot to come off first.

got it. And for the lowering kit you are able to use the same shocks? and not a specific/new shock? Sorry just not familiar with the lowering kit.

I can't really tell...is that a plastic or metal boot?

Yep. Same shocks and coils just new spring perch. Dont wanna cut the boot off and rock no boots but not sure how else to get em off.
Its a plastic boot.
The TRD ones come with rubber boots which just like slide off, these...not so much apparently
