New RCD Suspension System For Tacoma's

    RCD Suspension systems is soon releasing there 6" suspension systems for the 2005 and newer Tacoma's soon. We at Downsouth Motorsports are very lucky to be the first ones to receive the new kit! We are going to do a complete installation write up along with pictures to illustrate the quality and craftsmanship of there product. This is a great product and is a breath of fresh air to the Tacoma suspension world that currently only a few kits available. Some of the key features include specifically valved full length Bilstein 5100's at all corners, Replacement spindles, stainless steel compression struts and stainless braded brakelines. We are anxious to get the kit installed and look forward to writing up the install... We are also going to be taking backorders for the kits as well!

    Have the RCD lifts been tested on the on the 09 tacoma's with VSC?

    As far as I know, they have not been tested on the '09 Tacoma with VSC....

    I believe they are working on that now......

    Vehicle Stability Control.....

    In RCD's Press Release I just read it states that there kit will work on a
    vehicle with VSC, but due to the sensitivity of VSC that it may need to be
    re calibrated after the kit is Installed......

    Thanks for the info. Im up in Northern Cali near San Jose. Do you know of any good shops in this area where i could get the kit installed? I have the knowledge and ability to do it myself, but not the time.

    Good morning,

    RCD just released there Press Release on the Kit and
    It has a MAP/Retail price of $2400.00 and I believe the kit
    will be in the area of $2100.00-$2200.00 shipped in the lower
    48 states via Ground...

    Also it looks like the kit with work with the VSC....But it may need
    to be re calibrated after the kit is installed..

    The Install was done months ago when Jon worked for me....
    We used his truck....
    It was posted on the Forum board.....

    I have the RCD on my 08 4x4. I can put up more pics of it if anyone is interested. I have had it on now for about 2 months... its a pretty smooth lift.

    Here's the pics of the RCD lift on my 08 4x4...its a really smooth ride. There's 12 inches of clearance from the bottom of the drop bracket. No rub on the 285/70/17's
