that mount looks like you would rub the tire on when you are flexing.

On a 1st gen I would think that solo kit would rub bad unless you had a Tundra axle or some thick wheel spacers.

2nd gens have a dovetailed frame since the shocks are ran outboard of the frame from the factory. So depending on how big your shocks are you can run a kit like that without wheel spacers.

shouldn't your shackle angle be close to parallel with the ground at full stuff? or did it start to come forward a lot as the springs went into neg arch? that still seems like too much... and speaking of too much. that seems like too much neg arch, granted no bumps in yet.

Was the fix adding a few inches to the Pelfreybilt kit? Did you have to cut your bed for those to fit now?

yea, that kit is for a first gen. looking at my setup (basically stockish) and my tire comes very very close to the frame. you would need wheel spacers or a wider rear axle for that. or never articulate the axle. maybe just a desert setup.

Desert rig still see a lot of side to side action. A lot of the 2nd gen guys have to get spacers to clear those bypass tubes on their shocks. Smooth bodies typically clear but aren't as nice for tuning as the bypasses.

finished up swapping in some 10" shocks, (should have went with 12" as i could have fit them.
welded up some lower shock mounts (did a ubolt flip also)

upper mount is a bolt on mount and upper mounts are almost touching the bottom of the bed. i have a 1" body lift to help get them as high as possible. also mounted the reservoirs to the upper mount.

All pro long travel with Fox DSC's, defined sua, Engage bed cage, glassworks fiberglass fenders, dtf front bumper, method wheels,
I have a few questions. I am getting the defined sua kit and bamf shock relocation kit and running fox 12" 2.5 smooth body's with external bypass with 1.5 spacers. My truck is a 2nd gen. Will that work?? I don't want to order it all and not have the right sized shocks. Any help I would greatly appreciate.
